Finishing

Matt / Untreated

The untreated or matt surface goes very well with discreet and simple designs. This subtly conveys the value of such a metal card and adapts very well to different environments. Fingerprints are barely recognisable thanks to this finish. For cards with colour printing, the card can be produced with a matt or gloss finish.

Brushed

In order to create a perfect and durable brushing, the metal is ground gently and without high temperatures using wire brushes. The even brushing gives the metal a new structure. Fingerprints are difficult to recognise. Ideal for cards that want to bring out the metallic effect. Depending on the colour, brushed cards can also be printed in colour. Here we ensure that the colour is neatly distributed in all the crevices on the card.

High Polish

High polish is the most striking surface finish in our company. Cards with a high polish are like a mirror and cannot be overlooked even from a distance. Our satinising machine carefully finishes the material so that no scratches are created during the process. The high polish goes very well with designs that want to stand out and give the metal card added exclusivity. Such cards are available in silver or gold.

Structure

There are many structure options that are discussed individually depending on the customer. Structured cards can be so pronounced that you can feel the structure or so simple that you can only easily recognise it. As a result, there is no standardised procedure and a wide variety of machines are used. Such cards are ideal for designs that are intended to achieve the greatest possible effect in terms of both look and feel. Fingerprints are no longer visible due to the structure.

Extras

Colour printing 4 / 4

We use digital direct printing for rich colours and a pronounced contrast. The printed image is created by subtractive colour mixing from four standardised optimum colours. Cyan (helio true blue), magenta (purple), yellow (yellow) and key (black). This means that all colour tones are possible. The card can be produced in glossy or matt colours.

Imprint / Sunk In

Imprinting is only possible on metal cards. We imprint your desired section, logo, font or pictogram by around 0.1 mm. Embossing gives your metal card a modern, elegant style. The advantage here is that the imprinting on the back is not pressed through. Ideal for logos that are meant to be felt.

Embossing / Raised

The embossing is the counterpart of the embossing. A thicker material is used here and the card is then milled out by around 0.1 mm. This allows the logo, lettering or pictogram to stand out from the card. Of course, this finish is not visible on the reverse.

Punching / Cut Out

With this form of finishing, logos, lettering or pictograms are completely punched out. Cutout can only be used for metal cards and offers the advantage that the lettering can be seen from both sides. The design will be easily recognisable and is particularly useful for symmetrical characters.

Features:

QR-Code / Barcode

Nowadays, QR codes belong on almost every business card and serve to make the website quickly accessible. QR codes can not only redirect to the website, but also to contact details and further links. We ensure that the QR code fulfils the necessary scannability and visibility requirements.

NFC / RFID-Chip

The counterpart to the QR code is the RFID chip The abbreviation RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. It is therefore identification via electromagnetic waves. The most commonly used RFID chip is the NFC (Near Field Communication). RFID chips have the advantage that they can passively store data and transmit it via a mobile phone. This data can also be recoded if the content needs to be changed. Perfect for contact data transfer, lock systems and individualised access via chip card.

Serial number or individual names

Individual serial numbers, customised names or numbers are particularly popular for cards that require the cardholder to be precisely identified. Customised names give the customer an additional sense of value. Serial numbers and individual numbers give exclusivity and a sense of belonging. Ideal for cards that only go out to certain specified persons and are also intended for identification purposes.
